This site is dedicated to the memory of Probyn Webster Aitken.
Probyn Aitken was born in the District of Rio Bueno, Trelawny, in Jamaica on March 27, 1926.
He died peacefully in his sleep of prostate cancer on April 4, 2009 at his daughter's house in London, England.
He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family, especially his four grandchildren.

Thoughts
Probyn was a mentor, an honest man who did not entertain the inadequacies of unscrupulous politicians.

To the aitkin Family:
Thinking of you in your sorrow.
Today,as you celebrate the Sunset and life of a very dear and beloved member of the family, we,the members of June Williams' family wish to mourn your loss and celebrate with you.

Mr. Probyn Aitken’s death was also recognized and recorded by the Royal Lodge at its regular meeting on April 6, 2009.
I wish to express to Dr. Dianne Aitken and her family, my and the Royal Lodge’s condolences on the death of her father.
